Saturday, August 27th-- three competitors head to iPlay America in Freehold, NJ to compete at Men of War 14.
This event marks Buctown athlete / Volunteer Coach Matias Lopez first professional grappling debut. Lopez- recently promoted to Blue Belt at Buctown- is entering his Senior Year at Belleville HS and has made a exceptional amount of progress in both Wrestling and Jiu Jitsu since he walked through the doors. He puts in the work on and off season and it shows.
Also recently promoted to Blue Belt-- Buctown Athlete Jean Cabral also makes his pro debut at this event. Cabral, an active competitor, has competed and placed in multiple times in tournaments and is ready to take that next step.
Rounding out the night and no stranger to competing at Men of War and high-level competition - the Rooster Weight Champ, Coach "Super" Dave Zennario returns to defend his Title in the 125lbs NO-GI Championship bout!
