Buctown Girls battling it out at the BCWCA Girls Wrestling Invitational. Over 180 girls participated in this weekend's tournament. Resilience is the key word, as these girls had some hard fought duels and ended the day on a great note.

With Soraya Safforld taking the 3rd place spot on the podium, Illana Willams and Jasmine Yalowitz (4th) showed tremendous heart and improvement each match throughout the day, congratulations on a great tournament!

We are so proud of all of you!

Next up, The Tiankee family heads out to the Southern Regional Tournament w/ BTS Team as a couple of Buctown Rec Kids enter the Spartan Novice Tournament.

Everyone wrestled great against some great competition. Congratulations to all the kids for wrestling their hearts out and taking home some medals!

Ending the weekend, Jason Melendez takes home the dub at Hammer Series Challenge. He wins his superfight via armbar - congratulations Jason! This is just the beginning...
